PHL Honorary Consul in Nagoya Receives DFA Merit Award

10 July 2017 TOKYO — Mr. Makoto Maeda, Consul ad honorem of the Philippines in Nagoya City, with jurisdiction over Aichi Prefecture, Japan, receives from Philippine Ambassador to Japan Jose C. Laurel V the Certificate of Merit and Appreciation along with a Letter of Appreciation given by the Department of Foreign of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in simple ceremonies at the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo on July 07. The awards were given to Mr. Maeda, 72, in recognition of his invaluable service as Philippine Honorary Consul in Nagoya City for three years from November 2013 to November 2016.
