LM Ericsson-Bangladesh Executives Call On Ambassador Bandillo

11 July 2017 DHAKA, BANGLADESH — LM Ericsson executives, Mr. Rajendra Pangreka, Country Manager; Mr. Mir Awal Khademur Rahman, Director for Human Resources; and Ms. Jesmin Ehsan, Chief Financial Officer, called on Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo on July 05 to discuss the history of Ericsson in the Philippines and explore possible areas of cooperation and further development in the field of telecommunications for Ericsson in the Philippines.

The LM Ericsson representatives shared Ericsson’s plans for further development and expansion of global service centers in the South and Southeast Asian region, including voice and non-voice business process outsourcing centers (BPO) in the Philippines. The Ambassador expressed appreciation for the visit and encouraged continued exchanges between private companies and the Philippines on the expansion and enhancement of the telecommunications and BPO industries in the ASEAN region, particularly in the Philippines, where the BPO industry has seen remarkable success and growth in the last twenty years.
