PHL Embassy in Brunei Participates in the ASEAN Mini Concert in Conjunction with the 71st Birthday Celebration of His Majesty

31 July 2017, BRUNEI — The Philippine Embassy in Brunei Darussalam participated in the ASEAN Mini Concert titled “We are One” on July 22 from 8:15 pm to 10:45 pm at the open space in front of the Royal Regalia Museum in Bandar Seri Begawan. The event was held in conjunction with the 71st birthday celebration of His Majesty. Performers from the Seri Mulia Sarjana International School rendered traditional cultural performances, such as Sakuting and Malong Dance, and a modern hip hop dance to the song “Bebot”. A duo of teachers also sang a well-known song by Freddie Aguilar “Anak” to the delight of the audience.
