20 November 2013 - The Philippine delegation to the annual China Overseas Investment Fair (COIFAIR) 2013, led by Philippine Coconut Authority (PHILCOA) Deputy Administrator Roel M. Rosales, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Erlinda F. Basilio on October 30.

COIFAIR was held at the Beijing Hotel International Convention Center from October 29 to 30. 

Coconut wine, produced by Vino de Coco, was featured at this year’s COIFAIR. 

At the roundtable conference on October 30 featuring the Philippines’ agricultural sector, Mr. Rosales provided the Chinese participants an overview of the Philippines’ agricultural sector and the various investment opportunities within the sector. 

Chinese enterprises/businessmen were particularly interested in establishing business linkages with Philippine agro-based companies, selling agricultural machinery, and importing sea weed products and coconut-based products. END
