PHL Consulate General Holds Songwriting Forum for Dubai's Top Composers

08 August 2017 DUBAI, UAE — Three of the country's top composers conducted a songwriting workshop with Dubai's most talented songwriters on August 02 at a forum held at the Philippine Consulate General. Trina Belamide, Marion Aunor, and Jonathan Manalo shared tips for aspiring composers and lectured on the basic technical foundation of music composing, production, and publishing with 17 participants from Dubai.

The forum is a pre-event to Dubai Dubai Musikahan 2 (DDM2), a songwriting competition that aims to provide a venue for the artistic and creative pursuits of the Filipino community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

DDM2 is a project of the Philippine Consulate General and the Filipino Ladies of Dubai.
