PHL Ambassador to Singapore Meets with Phl Participants at the 19th APPSMO
09 August 2017 SINGAPORE — Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales (2nd from left) met with Col Efren Morados, PA (leftmost) and Major Carlos Chan Jr., PAF (rightmost), Philippine participants at the opening of the 19th Asia Pacific Programme for Senior Military Officers (APPSMO) at the Village Hotel Changi Singapore on August 03. Ambassador Morales was accompanied by Defense and Armed Forces Attaché Col Aderito Navata, PA (3rd from left). APPSMO is organized by the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) and its component Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (IDSS) to provide an informal forum for military officers from the Asia-Pacific and beyond to interact on a pan-regional scale. The annual event enables senior military officers to meet and establish personal relationships as well as share knowledge about military and security developments that are of mutual interest. During the meeting, Ambassador Morales wished the Philippine military officials a productive and successful participation in the programme, which will conclude on August 10.
