Ambassador Maria Fe T. Pangilinan presents her accreditation letters to Montenegrin President Filip Vujanović

22 August 2017 PODGORICA, MONTENEGRO – Ambassador Maria Fe T. Pangilinan presented her credentials to President Filip Vujanović as non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Montenegro on July 21.

The ceremony was held at the President’s Residence in Cetinje. A meeting between President Vujanović and Amb. Pangilinan followed wherein both parties expressed their mutual desire to assume a more proactive role in improving bilateral relations. Cooperation may start with people-to-people exchanges, political consultations and the organization of business forums by the Chambers of Commerce.

President Vujanović stated that the role of the honorary consuls is very important in nurturing relations between two countries. He said that Montenegro is ready to do everything to provide impetus to PH-Montenegrin relations and to establish new economic ties.

Prior to her presentation of credentials, Amb. Pangilinan also called on officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro to discuss matters of mutual interest and to explore new avenues for cooperation.
