PHL Embassy Showcases Filipino Cuisine in the ASEAN Food Festival in Jakarta

29 August 2017 JAKARTA — The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta showcased Filipino cuisine at the ASEAN Food Festival organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesian on August 05.

The embassy demonstrated the cooking of chicken adobo and gave out polvoron, sago’t gulaman while Liwayway Company donated Oishi products for the guests and which proved to be a big draw for all. Fair attendees were happy to know more of the ASEAN countries especially their cuisine during the event.

The event is in line with the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN.
