PHL Embassy, Philippine Ladies Circle Celebrate Buwan ng Wika in Abu Dhabi

31 August 2017 ABU DHABI – Madame Yoko Ramos-Vingno, spouse of the Philippine Ambassador to the UAE and Chair of the Philippine Ladies Circle – Abu Dhabi, is joined by performers and guests at the “Buwan ng Wika” Celebration on 26 August 2017 at the Mushrif Mall, Abu Dhabi. The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Philippine Ladies Circle - Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with Mushrif Mall and Timeless Elegance Event Management, held an entertainment program featuring Filipino songs in celebration of the Buwan ng Wika (National Language Month). Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa (National Language Month) is celebrated every year in August pursuant to Proclamation No. 1041 of 1997 by former President Fidel V. Ramos. The celebration coincides with the birth month of the father of the Philippine national language, President Manuel L. Quezon, who was born on 19 August 1878.
