PHL Consulate General in Agana Flies to Koror, Palau, Provides 740 Consular Services

06 September 2017 KOROR, PALAU — The Philippine Consulate General in Agana conducted mobile consular mission in Koror, Republic of Palau from August 19 to 21. The consular service was conducted at Palau Hotel in downtown Koror.

The consular team was able to render a total of 740 consular services during the three-day outreach consisting of 459 ePassports application/renewal (including 5 lost passports); 6 passport extensions; 3 travel documents; 19 notarials/authentication; and 10 reports of birth (ROB).

The team also registered a total of 237 overseas voters and rendered Assistance to Nationals (ATN) service to three (3) Filipinas who sought advice on their immigration status/employment problem and family concerns. Consul Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian, together with Honorary Consul Whipps, also visited the three (3) remaining fishermen of F/B Gene-8 being held at the Palau Marine Law Port to check their condition and provided them with food and other basic needs.

The consular mission was the second to be conducted by the Consulate General in Palau for 2017. It was carried out with the assistance and support of the office of PHL Honorary Consul Eric Ksau Whipps and the volunteers from the Filipino community in Palau.
