06 September 2017 PAGO PAGO, AMERICAN SAMOA — The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu conducted a 3-day consular outreach mission to American Samoa from August 26 to 28, serving a total of 550 applicants of passport, authentication and notarial services. The consular outreach was facilitated by the Filipino Community in American Samoa (FCAS).

On August 26, Consul Roberto T. Bernardo visited the Pago Pago jail to see a Filipino inmate. In the afternoon, Mr. Thomas Satele, a representative of the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) held a brief meeting with officers of the FCAS. The meeting was organized the PCG Honolulu in partnership with OSHA.

Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin met Lieutenant Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga on August 27 during the Consular Night event organized by FCAS. ConGen Jamoralin and Assistant Attorney General Woody Pengele inducted the FCAS officers.

On August 28, Consul General Jamoralin paid a courtesy call on Governor Lolo Letalu Matalasi Moliga, accompanied by officers of FCAS led by Reynaldo Sellos, President.

Consul General Jamoralin met with American Samoa Representative Puleleiite Tufele, Jr. during a dinner hosted by the latter on August 28. END
