06 September 2017 TEHRAN, IRAN — Kaveh Port and Marine Services Company Chairman of the Board and Managing Director Mr. Mohammad Kaveh and Board Member and CEO Mr. Alireza Jahan met with Chargé d’ Affaires a.i. Wilfredo C. Santos at the Philippine Embassy in Tehran on September 03, to discuss their upcoming trip to the Philippines this month in relation to the joint venture entered into between their company and the International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) of the Philippines.

The agreement was the result of the visit of ICTSI owner Mr. Enrique Razon to Iran in October 2015 in its bid to set up a port cargo terminal in Bandar Abbas Port, southeast coast of Iran, and is the country’s major port of entry on the Strait of Hormuz.

CDA Santos expressed his appreciation for the visit and assured them of the assistance which the Embassy may offer to further strengthen the trade relations between the Philippines and Iran.
