PHL Embassy Briefs Students from The Hague Academy, Leiden University

07 September 2017 – The Philippine Embassy in The Hague, led by Ambassador Jaime Victor B. Ledda and Consul Zoilo A. Velasco, hosted briefings to students from The Hague Academy for Private International Law on 09 August 2017, and Leiden University on 24 August 2017. The briefings are among several conducted by the Embassy throughout the year in coordination with different academic institutions in the Netherlands.
The students from The Hague Academy are lawyers of different nationalities, while those from Leiden University are incoming freshmen students in international relations and studies. The Hague PE briefed them about the Philippines, the function of the Embassy, the bilateral relations between the Philippines and the Netherlands, and the various legal and diplomatic issues relevant to the students’ field of study. The briefings concluded with candid and dynamic exchanges of questions and ideas with the participants.
