13 September 2017 THE HAGUE – Filipino martial arts, arnis, the country’s national dance, tinikling, the Cordillera’s folksong-dance, salidumay and sumptuous Filipino dishes of lumpia, adobo, pancit and turon showcased some of Philippine’s best as the Philippine Embassy in The Hague participated at the annual Embassy Festival on September 02.

Ambassador Jaime Victor B. Ledda and embassy personnel represented the country at this one-day festival, with the cooperation of members of the Filipino Communities from Breda (BITAW, Bringing Inspirations through Actions and Words) Hoofddorp (UFDA, United Filipino Dutch Association) and The Hague (FILMIS, Filipino Migrants in Solidarity).   The Embassy Festival also provided a good platform to increase awareness of the Dutch and expatriate communities on Philippine tourism with its famous tourist destinations in Boracay and Palawan, including information dissemination on the Embassy’s consular services.
