PH Consulate General in New York Delivers Services to Connecticut-Based Filipinos

14 September 2017 NEW YORK – The Philippine Consulate General in New York, working together with the Philippine-American Association of Connecticut, Inc.(PAAC), the Pilipino Association of CT., Inc., (PACI), the New England Filipino American, Inc., (NEFAI) and the Samahang Pilipino Americano sa CT (SAPAC) conducted a consular outreach mission to Connecticut on September 02.

The team attended to the needs of the Filipino communities in the Connecticut and New England area, serving clients who came not just from Connecticut but Massachusetts and Rhode Island and processing 140 consular services, 23 dual citizenship applications, and registered 38 new overseas absentee voters.

The outreach activity was met with an enthusiastic response from both the organizers and the Filipino community, many of whom had been looking forward to the consular team’s arrival. END
