Heavy Equipment Supplier Expresses Interest in Doing Business in the Philippines

20 September 2017 SINGAPORE - Officials of Powerplus, a heavy equipment supplier have expressed their interest in doing business in the Philippines during their call on Philippine Ambassador Antonio A. Morales at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore on September 14.

Mr. Dennis Ong, Founding Chairman of Powerplus and Honorary Consul General of Papua New Guinea in Singapore, who was accompanied by Mr. Marcus Ong, Managing Director and Executive Director Gerad Lau, said that his company is very keen on opportunities for Powerplus in the Philippines. They are currently looking for possible partners to help expand Powerplus’ footprint in the country. 

Powerplus has presence in many countries including Singapore, US and China.

Ambassador Morales thanked Mr. Ong for his positive attitude towards the Philippines. He added that the current initiative of the government to develop the country’s infrastructure under the Build, build, build program could open possibilities for companies like Powerplus. END
