20 September 2017 BEIRUT – In partnership with the Filipino Community in North Lebanon (FilCom North), the Philippine Embassy in Beirut, POLO-Beirut and OWWA-Beirut conducted overseas voters’ registration and a Financial Literacy and Reintegration Seminar in Tripoli, the second-largest city in Lebanon, on September 17 at the Mar Maroun Church. Nearly 200 Filipino workers from Tripoli and surrounding municipalities in northern Lebanon participated in the successful event.

Voters’ registration, verification of records and distribution of voters’ IDs were held throughout the day by Information Officer Loremie Bautista and Administrative Officer Carmelita Duarte.
