PHL Consulate General in Los Angeles Welcomes Delegation from Makati City Government

The delegation will be in Los Angeles until 23 September 2017 to meet with various institutions dealing with different aspects of disaster risk reduction and management. The institutions are the Emergency Management Department of Los Angeles, American Red Cross, U.S. Green Building Council and UCLA Center for Public Health and Disasters. 

22 September 2017, LOS ANGELES – The Philippine Consulate General welcomed a delegation from the Makati City government on 18 September 2017. The group is undertaking a course on Strategic Disaster Risk Management and Leadership from Stephen Zuellig Graduate School of Development Management, an ancillary program of the Asian Institute of Management. 

The group is composed of Vice Mayor Monique Yazmin Lagdameo; Makati City Administrator Claro Celestino Certeza; Luis S. Javier, Makati City Councilor; Mr. Arnold C. Magpantay, Head of General Services Department; Cherry Canda-Melodias, City Director of the Department of Interior nd Local Government; Mr. Armando P. Padilla, President of the Liga ng mga Barangay; and Mr. Richard Raymund Rodriguez, Makati City’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer. END
