PHL Consulate General in Milan and PHL Overseas Labor Office Launch 56th Leadership and Entrepreneurial Training Program

29 September 2017 MILAN - The Philippine Consulate General in Milan in cooperation with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office continues its commitment to improve the lives of the overseas Filipinos in Northern Italy with the launch the 56th Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship Training Program (LSE 56) in Milan. The first session was held on 17 September 17 at the Philippine Consulate premises in Milan.
LSE 56-MILAN will run for two Sundays every month from September 2017 to March 2018.
Mr. Edgardo Valenzuela of Ateneo School of Governance led the training program’s opening session. POLO Milan Labor Attaché Maria Corina Padilla-Buñag was on hand to deliver an inspirational message on behalf of Consul General Marichu Mauro. Testimonial messages from previous graduates also highlighted the event.
Forty-seven new students attended the first session entitled “Introduction and Leadership”. More students are expected to join in the next session. This is the fifth LSE training program to be held in Milan. The other programs were organized in various cities all over Northern Italy to ensure that as many Filipinos could benefit from the program as possible.
