Chicken Adobo, Biko, Pichi-Pichi and Kutsinta were some of the Filipino Food Showcased at the Food Fair

04 October 2017 VIENTIANE - The Philippine Embassy in Vientiane, Lao PDR, showcased Philippine cuisine as it participated in the Food Fair held at the Lao National Culture Hall on October 02. The Food Fair was organized by the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of ASEAN and 20th Anniversary of Lao PDR’s accession to ASEAN.

The Philippine Embassy showcased Philippine cuisines like chicken adobo, biko, pichi-pichi, kutsinta, and macaroons. A member of the Filipino community, Ms. Alma Magpantay Mapili, also presented lumpiang shanghai, pork adobo and barbeque.

The customers from the international community enjoyed the Filipino food, bringing some of their friends and colleagues to taste it. END
