PHL Consulate General in Honolulu Holds Team Building Activity

06 October 2017 HONOLULU – The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu conducted team building exercises at Four Seasons Resort at Ko Olina on September 30.
Members of the Consulate engaged in a number of group activities featuring Hawaiian song and dance in the morning. A basic lesson on Hula was given by renowned hula professional Kumu Hula ‘Iwalani Wahinekapu Walsh Tseu. Kumu Iwalani is the Executive Director of Hui ‘Iwa Academy and owner of ‘Iwalani School of Dance in Japan and in South Korea.
In the afternoon, Consulate staff participated in group activities designed to improve team coordination, communication, planning, and execution. Through this one-day team building event, members of the Consulate were able to enhance teamwork in the work place, build camaraderie, while at the same time, heighten their awareness of the culture of Hawaii.
