PHL Consulate General in Calgary Attends Annual Government of Alberta Briefing for Consular Corps

Honourable Deron Bilous, Member of the Legislative Assembly and Minister of Economic Development and Trade, addresses the consular corps and other representatives at the Annual Government of Alberta briefing in Calgary on 5 October 2017.

10 October 2017 CALGARY – Philippine Consul General in Calgary Julius Torres met with Honourable Deron Bilous, Member of the Legislative Assembly and Minister of Economic Development and Trade at the Annual Government of Alberta briefing for the consular corps and other representatives hosted by said Minister.

Minister Bilou briefed the attendees on the state of Alberta’s economy, and provided updates and changes in labor and health regulations. According to Minister Bilou, Alberta’s resilient economy is now on the road to recovery with the return to growth of exports and energy/oil investments and production in 2017. END
