PHL Consulate General Attends Opening of Pamana ng Lahi Exhibit at Filipino Cultural Center in L.A.

12 October 2017, LOS ANGELES - Consul Rea G. Oreta joined the opening of “Pamana Ng Lahi,” a month-long photography and visual arts Expo on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Philippines. The photographic exhibit will be held at the Filipino Cultural Center in Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles from October 04 to 28.

The “Pamana Ng Lahi” exhibit is in cooperation with the Filipino American Community of Los Angeles (FACLA), the Philippine Institute of Language, Arts and Culture (PILAC) and the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles. The month-long exhibit features the works of Mr. Vics Magsaysay, photographer, painter, sculptor, graphic designer, writer, and poet. Mr. Magsaysay’s works highlighted the beauty and history of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Philippines. His works spans a period of over 30 years of traveling around the Philippine archipelago.
