PHL Embassy in Tokyo, Japan Conducts Annual Outreach Consular Mission in Sapporo City, Hokkaido, Japan

13 October 2017 TOKYO – The Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, Japan in cooperation with the Samahang Pilipino Hokkaido headed by Mr. Angelo Batac, and Filipino Community Volunteers in Hokkaido, successfully conducted its annual consular outreach mission at the Sapporo International Communication Plaza Foundation in Sapporo City on September 16. Sapporo City is located 713 miles from the Embassy and home to more than 1,500 Filipinos.

During the one-day mission, a total of 149 ePassport applications, 38 notarial and civil registration applications, 44 consultations and 112 applications for Overseas Absentee Voting registration were received.

The next consular outreach missions will be conducted in Nagano City on October 7 and Yaizu City, Shizuoka on October 21. END
