13 October 2017 PARIS – An eight-member team from the Philippine Embassy held a one-day consular outreach mission in Nice, France on October 7. The team provided consular, passport, civil registry, assistance-to-nationals, and overseas voting registration services to around 300 clients who reside in Nice and its adjacent areas.
The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Geneva, which has jurisdiction over France for all labor-related concerns of overseas Filipino workers, also participated in the outreach mission.
Members of the Filipino community hailed the outreach mission as successful, and clamored for regular consular outreach programs in the area. END.
