Consular Services Rendered to Filipinos in New Hampshire

Consular clients await their turn at the VFW Post in Merrimack

20 October 2017 NEW YORK – An Outreach Team from the Philippine Consulate General in New York provided services to Filipinos and Filipino-Americans at the VFW Post 8641 in Merrimack, New Hampshire on October 14.

Over 230 services were rendered to clients who came to avail of consular assistance including passport applications, Civil Registry matters, Citizenship Re-Acquisition and Retention, Notarials, Assistance-to-Nationals advice, and Overseas Absentee Voting Registration.

On hand to assist in the Outreach Mission were volunteers from the Filipino-American Friendship Society of New Hampshire and the Filipino Community of Maine. Clients from neighboring states such as Massachusetts and Rhode Island likewise availed of the outreach services.

There are an estimated 3,300 Filipinos in the state of New Hampshire with an additional 2,900 in Maine based on US Census Bureau figures. END
