PHL Ambassador to Iran Presents Letters of Credence Before Foreign Minister Zarif

23 October 2017 TEHRAN – Philippine Ambassador to Iran Wilfredo C. Santos presented the open copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Iran on October 15.

Both sides discussed the expansion of bilateral relations of the Philippines and Iran in all areas of cooperation, especially in trade, business, and commerce.

The Philippines and Iran established diplomatic relations on January 22, 1964. END
