25 November 2013 - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh has received several referrals from concerned citizens regarding two cases of alleged distressed Filipinas circulating on social media, in particular Ms Gina Madamba Pastor and Ms. Normina Puntuan.

The Embassy appreciates the referrals by concerned citizens but it would like to inform the public that both cases have already been resolved.

Both Ms. Pastor and Ms. Puntuan are already in the Philippines.

Ms. Pastor was repatriated on May 29, 2013, and Ms. Puntuan on 2 October 2012. END
