The City of Carson Holds Wreath Laying Ceremony at Jose Rizal Monument Kicks-Off Filipino-American History Month

23 October 2017 LOS ANGELES – The City of Carson held a wreath-laying ceremony at the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Monument signifying the start of a month long celebration of Philippine American History Month at the International Sculpture Garden in Carson, California on October 07.
After the wreath-laying ceremony, a short program followed at the Carson Community Center. The City Council, presented certificates to Filipino Americans including Mr. AJesus-Alex Caignlet, Ms. Joanna Concepcion, Mr. Marcelino Ines, Jr. and Ms. Melissa Ramoso, Mr. Wilfredo Credo, Ms. Kamille Magante and Ms. Angelica Tan for their achievements and contributions to the community.
