PHL Embassy Graces the Opening of the PHL Ambassador’s Cup Bowling Tournament 2017

26 October 2017 BRUNEI – Philippine Embassy officials, led by Ambassador Meynardo LB Montealegre, attended the opening of the Philippine Ambassador’s Cup Bowling Tournament 2017 organized by the Filipino Bowler’s Club of Brunei (FBC) on October 19 at the IBowl, Utama Bowling Center, Bandar Seri Begawan.

Ambassador Montealegre commended the officers and members of the FBC who organized the tournament, urged them to continue as a strong partner in promoting programs for the Filipino Community and set a good example in observing the statutes of the host country.

He also urged the Filipino Community to harness these close relations to further their advocacies in promoting the country as an investment and tourism destination, and at protecting the welfare and interests of the overseas Filipinos in Brunei. 

A total of eight (8) teams will be competing in the tournament. An exhibition game participated by Embassy personnel and officers of the FBC also took place during the event. END
