PHL Consul General Graces 1st Anniversary of Pacific Island Times

Philippine Consul General to Guam Marciano R. de Borja (2nd from left) graced celebrations marking the first anniversary of the Pacific Island Times, a monthly publication that focuses on social and policy issues, politics, government, and cultures in Guam, Palau and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) at Tumon Sands Plaza on October 18. Also in photo are Consul Mark Francis C. Hamoy (rightmost) and Vice Consul Alex O. Vallespin (leftmost), Pacific Island Times publisher and founder Ms. Mar-Vic Cagurangan started her career in journalism in 1988.  Ms. Cagurangan graduated with an AB Philosophy degree from the University of Santo Tomas and MA Sociology from the University of the Philippines.
