PHL Consulate General in Dubai and Filipino Ladies of Dubai Celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness

03 November 2017 DUBAI – The Philippine Consulate General and the Filipino Ladies of Dubai in partnership with two Filipino-owned commercial entities based in Dubai-ARC and The Medical City, organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Commemorative Event at the Philippine Consulate General Grounds on October 27.

Dr. Yasmin Balajadia-Cortes, chair of the Filipino Ladies of Dubai led the event which composed of lectures, free OB/GYN checkup and highlighted by the “Pink Ribbon Formation” at the Philippine Consulate Grounds.

The Philippine Consulate General in partnership with the Filipino Ladies of Dubai organize at least one cultural and community event a month. Among the events include Dubai Dubai Musikahan, Ulirang Ama and Ina, and health awareness forums for the community. END
