EHL de Lausanne, in partnership with a local educational institution in various countries all over the world, holds an annual gala to celebrate its successes and milestones, and to provide an opportunity for its students and alumni to showcase their skills and training in the global hospitality industry. It was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, prominent stakeholders of the hospitality industry in Lebanon, members of the faculty of La Sagesse University, and the Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne's officers and administrators from accredited schools from different parts of the globe.

Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne is one of the top hospitality management schools in the world, and is known for its excellent and globally-oriented training programs. Its graduates go on to become the best in their fields, while it continues to expand globally through its certified schools in different countries. In the Philippines, Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne partnered with Dusit Thani Manila and is currently working with local stakeholders for accreditation and building of facilities.  Mr. Ron Hilvert, managing director for the project, was present at the event.

The gala started with a cocktail reception followed by a five course dinner at the university's function hall. The guests were treated to various culinary treats produced and served by La Sagesse's own students and alumni.  Later in the evening, the Bailando Group presented popular dances from ten different countries, including the Philippines.  For the Philippine dance, Ms. Nichelle Mingas made a special participation and performed the T'boli dance in front of an appreciated crowd. END
