PHL Embassy in Athens Conducts Consular Outreach in Rhodes, Greece

08 November 2017 RHODES — The Philippine Embassy in Athens conducted a consular outreach, overseas voting (OV) registration, POLO, OWWA and Pag-IBIG services, for the Filipino Community at the Best Western Plaza Hotel in Rhodes, Greece last November 05.
The consular outreach team was led by Minister and Consul General Rosario P. Lemque, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., Philippine Embassy, including Mr. Adam A. Musa, Labor Attaché; Mrs. Rosalia Susana S. Bahia-Catapang, Welfare Officer; and Ms. Jean V. Santos, Pag-IBIG Representative.
The consular outreach team processed: 6 passport renewal applications; 2 Reports of Birth (ROB); 11 applications for overseas voting registration/certification; 9 applications for reactivation of overseas voting records; 9 applications for change of address of overseas voters; 1 correction of entries; 32 renewal of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) membership; 30 applications for updating of Pag-IBIG contributions; 2 Overseas Employment Certificates (OEC) issuance; 3 verifications of Employment Contracts; 11 issuance of Employment Contracts for Verification; and 11 on-line registration for OEC.
After the conclusion of consular services, the members of the Filipino Community (FilCom) were given a briefing on ASEAN’s 50th Anniversary, and on POLO, OWWA, and Pag-IBIG services available to them.
The consular outreach was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of the Filipino Workers Association in Rhodes (FWAR); the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Athens, Greece; and the Pag-IBIG Representative Office in Athens, Greece. END
