During the meeting, Consul General Mauro thanked Mr. Pischedda for taking time meet the team from PHL. She said that the meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to introduce each other and take a look at possibilities in services, manufacturing and trade between PHL and the TCC in the aerospace industry. She likewise noted that that the growing relevance of the aerospace industry in PHL is in itself surprising that is also opening more opportunities for the labor sector. Mr. Pischedda, for his part, mentioned that TCC is willing to work with partners from PHL. He said TCC could act as a business-to-business (B2B) organizer and facilitator and serves as a ‘hotspot’ in helping promote information about their operations with TCC members in Turin and the Piemonte Region in Italy.
Team PHL also met with industry representatives to encourage participation in the forthcoming Aeromart ASEAN Summit to be held in Clark City, Philippines in April 2018. END
