PHL Embassy in Athens Conducts Consular Outreach in Heraklion, Crete, Greece

06 December 2017 ATHENS — The Philippine Embassy in Athens conducted a consular outreach and overseas voting (OV) registration in Heraklion, Crete, Greece on December 03.
The consular outreach team processed 19 passport renewal applications; 2 Reports of Birth (ROB); 2 Special Powers of Attorney (SPA); 1 Certification; 1 Application for Dual Citizenship; 6 applications for overseas voting registration/certification; 9 applications for reactivation of overseas voting records; 8 applications for change of address of overseas voters; 1 correction of entries; 20 employment contract forms issued; and advised 13 applicants on how to open online accounts.
The Filipino Community (FilCom) was also given a briefing on ASEAN’s 50th Anniversary, and on POLO services available to them. The new set of officers of the Filipino Club of Irakleo Crete (FCIC) was also inducted.
The consular outreach was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of Mr. Alexandros Fasoulakis, the Philippine Honorary Consul in Crete; the Filipino Community in Crete, led by the Filipino Club of Irakleo, Crete (FCIC); and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Athens, Greece.
