PHL Embassy in Singapore Supports Investor Boot-Camp

The Philippine Embassy in Singapore took part and provided support to The Global Filipino Investor (TGFI) Investor Bootcamp 2.0 in the Singapore Expo at the Singapore Expo on November 19. In his welcome remarks, Consul General Victorio Dimagiba reminded the audience of the need to make the wisest investment choices, based on the tools that are available to you. The highlight of the morning plenary session was the inspirational message of Ms. Myrna Padilla, a former OFW from Singapore and Hong Kong, and a successful businesswoman who now runs her own BPO in Davao City. In the afternoon breakout sessions, representatives from the National Reintegration Center for OFWs as well as the Philippine Trade & Investment Centre – Singapore, gave presentations on the reintegration programs of the government, as well as the investment environment in the Philippines respectively.
