PHL Consul General to Dubai Joins Mechanical and Electrical Engineers in Turn Over Ceremonies and Annual Membership Meetings

Philippine Consul General Paul Raymund P. Cortes participated in two major ceremonies of Philippine professional organizations in Dubai last week – The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) Year-End General Membership Meeting and Turnover Ceremony and the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines UAE Chapter Turnover & Acceptance Ceremony on December 01. Consul General Cortes emphasized the role of Philippine overseas professionals in building the already excellent repute of the Filipino and in playing a more active role in our economic development by lending their expertise and skills towards building a more innovative and creative Philippine society. He also challenged them to take on greater responsibilities in the workplaces and in the societies they find themselves in, proving to the rest of the world that the Filipino is ready to take on leadership roles in the global milieu.
