PHL Ambassador Vingno Graces 2017 Year-End Party and Oath-Taking Ceremonies of Civil Engineers in UAE

13 December 2017 ABU DHABI — Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. was the Speaker and Guest of Honor during the 2017 Year End Party and Oath Taking Ceremonies of the Philippine Institute for Civil Engineers (PICE) – UAE Chapter held at Bab Al Qasr Hotel, Abu Dhabi, UAE on December 08.

In his speech, Ambassador Vingno thanked the PICE-UAE for its support to the examinees of the Special Professional Licensure Examinations that has led to their success in becoming Civil Engineers. He noted the commitment of PICE in providing opportunities for professional development of its members, and highlighted the increasing number of ASEAN Engineers among its ranks.

During the event, PICE-UAE Chapter 2017 President Engr. Browenn De Leon enumerated the gains of the organization for the year. Third Secretary and Vice Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil led the oath taking of the PICE-UAE Chapter 2018 Officers and Board of Directors led by Engr. Vinzor A. Yee Concepcion.

Vice Consul Pangilinan-Daquipil also led the oath taking of professionals of the 23 new Civil Engineers in the UAE while Third Secretary and Vice Consul Von Ryan Pangwi led the oath taking of new members of PICE-UAE Chapter.

PICE-UAE Chapter which was founded on 6 August 2012 has now more than 800 members. It is a duly-recognized and accredited chapter of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE) National Headquarters and is a member-organization of the Philippine Professional Organization (PPO)- UAE and the Bayanihan Council. END
