PHL Embassy in Oslo Brings Consular Services Closer to Filipinos in Sweden
Honorary Consul General Erik Belfrage of the Philippine Consulate General in Stockholm and Ms. Mary Borromeo Hedfors of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center came to show their support to the team and meet the applicants.
18 December 2017 OSLO — The Philippine Embassy in Oslo, Norway sent a three- member team in Stockholm, Sweden, to conduct a Consular Outreach mission from December 08 to 10, in coordination with the Filipino Community Leader's Association in Sweden (Filcomlas Sweden).
Filipinos from the different cities in Sweden and even some from Finland availed of the consular services provided by the consular team, which was composed of Attaché Marcelo M. Cunanan, Manuel S. Moran, Jr. and Attaché Theresa R. Bantolo-Heikkilä. The consular team processed around 100 e-Passport applications, civil registrations, and documents for notarization and authentication, as well as entertained queries regarding visa, dual citizenship and the balikbayan program.
The consular outreach is a commitment of the Embassy to bring its consular services closer to Filipinos residing in different countries in the Nordic region. END
