PHL Embassy in Prague Promotes Philippine Pearls at Prestigious Advent Festival at the Hilton Hotel

04 January 2018 PRAGUE — The Philippine Embassy in Prague participated anew in this year’s annual International Christmas Festival organized by the Diplomatic Spouses Association (DSA) on 27 November 2017 at the Hilton Hotel in Prague, participated by more than 50 countries.

The Philippine Embassy’s booth, which mainly sells Philippine freshwaters pearls, has repeatedly drew crowds from both Czech and international visitors of the International Christmas Festival over past several years.

The Philippine booth has been a venue to promote economic diplomacy, Philippine creative products, culture and tourism. This year, the Philippine Embassy partnered with a Philippine company based in Prague, Globetech Pro, which sells Philippine pearls in Prague.

The annual Festival, which drew thousands of visitors annually, is aimed at promoting solidarity among the diplomatic corps family. All the proceeds of the event are for the benefit of 29 charitable institutions in the Czech Republic. END
