PHL Consulate General in Toronto Conducts Pre-Departure Briefing for Winter Escapade 5 Participants

15 January 2018 TORONTO -Twenty-six participants of Winter Escapade 5, It’s More Fun in the Philippines, braved the snow and freezing rain on January 10, 2018, to attend the pre-departure briefing organized by the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto. The participants came from the Greater Toronto Area, nearby areas, and as far as Windsor, Ontario, a five-hour drive from Toronto.

Winter Escapade 5 will take the participants to Manila, and the cities of Bacolod and Davao from February 3-11, 2018. Consul Edna May G. Lazaro reviewed the itinerary for all three cities, issued travel advisories, and mentioned some reminders and travel tips. 

Consul General Prospero hosted the participants to dinner as preview to what to expect in the Philippines and as gesture of Filipino hospitality. END
