New Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Assumes Post

22 January 2018 SINGAPORE — New Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Joseph Del Mar Yap arrived at Post on 05 January to formally assume his duty.

He was accompanied by his wife, Madame Josephine Gotianun Yap.

Immediately after their arrival, Ambassador and Madame Yap joined the officers, staff of the Embassy and the attached agencies for the flag lowering ceremony. A mass and simple salo-salo followed that enabled Ambassador Yap to get to know and interact with the Embassy team.

Ambassador Yap was a corporate executive previously connected with the Filinvest Group, Family Bank and Trust Company, Nestle Company Inc. and Manila Electric   Company before being appointed as Ambassador. He has an MBA from the Harvard Business School. END
