Makati City Barangay Captains Conduct Study Visit to Singapore

Ambassador Joseph Del Mar Yap welcomes the Barangay Captains of Makati City.

22 January 2018 SINGAPORE — The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) conducted a study visit to Singapore last 11-13 January in connection with the two-part Leadership Development Program for community leaders of the City of Makati entitled “Towards a Safe and Secure Makati: Using the Bridging Leadership Approach.” The objective of the visit is to enhance the participants’ capabilities to fulfill their roles as public leaders and to expose the participants to the best practices of other leaders involved in change management and public service delivery. Eighteen barangay captains paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Joseph Del Mar Yap on 11 January. The Embassy gave a short briefing on PH-Singapore relations and the various functions of the Embassy.
