23 January 2018 NEW YORK – In line with the observation of National Autism Consciousness Week from 14 to 20 January, the Philippine Consulate General in New York, Philippine Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, and the Philippine Center Management Board recited the pledge entitled “1 Pangako” (One Promise) at the Lobby-Gallery of the Philippine Center-New York.
Some members of the Filipino-American Community likewise joined the recital of the pledge which was led by Consul Arman Talbo.
National Autism Consciousness Week aims to raise awareness of the challenges faced by persons falling within the autism spectrum, their needs as well as their potential as members of society. END
