29 January 2018 DAR ES SALAAM — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Uriel Norman R. Garibay presented his credentials as non-resident Ambassador to Tanzania to President John Pombe Magufuli on 22 January 2018 at the state house in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
President Magufuli said that the ties between the Philippines and Tanzania will further be strengthened and developed with the said occasion and hopes there are agreements that could be forged in the future. Ambassador Garibay said that the Philippines can provide expertise in the field of agriculture and oil and natural gas development.
Ambassador Garibay met with other government officials including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Augustine Mahiga, the Asia and Australasia Directorate, Permanent Secretary Prof. Faustin Kamuzora of the Office of the Prime Minister and Inspector General Simon Sirro. END
