Sinulog Sa Vienna 2018

Ambassador Maria Cleofe R. Natividad addresses the devotees of the Sto. Niño, and enjoins everybody to be steadfast in their faith during the Sinulog Festival held on 21 January 2018 at Salvator am Wienerfeld.

29 January 2018 VIENNA — The Filipino community in Austria came out in droves to celebrate one of the biggest and most popular festivals in the Philippines, the Sinulog.  Providentially, this was also the first official community event that Her Excellency, Ambassador Maria Cleofe R. Natividad, graced after her assumption as the Philippine Ambassador to Austria on 22 December 2017. 

The Ambassador, in her first address to the community, considered this her homecoming,  having been previously posted in Austria.  Because of this, she is hopeful that future collaborations with the community on projects that will further the interest of our kababayans and the Philippines will be successful.  As well, she promised to support initiatives that are parallel to the development goals of the country.  Ambassador Natividad took the opportunity to remind our kababayans to put value on their right to vote and enjoined them to visit the Embassy to register as overseas voters.
