PHL Consulate General in HK Supports Filipino Artists in Cancer Cause

30 January 2018 HONG KONG – Philippine Consul General Antonio A. Morales praised the talent and genius of Filipino artists featured in the art exhibit titled "Unity in Diversity." The VIP preview for the four-day exhibition was held on 25 January at the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, Kennedy Road, Central.

The Filipino artists were namely Ram Mallari, Gerrico Blanco, Frank Caña, Salvador Ching, Rovi Salegumba and Eman Sia.

"Unity in Diversity" was organized by Ms. Anna Pendry and Ms. Irene Haagen of Kambal Gallery Hong Kong. Part of the proceeds of the art exhibit will go to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF).

During his remarks, Consul General Morales also thanked HKBCF for its partnership in providing breast health projects for the Filipino Community.

Consul General Morales was one of the VIP preview's guests of honor together with HKBCF Founder, Dr. Polly Chung. END
