PHL Embassy in Thailand Installs Access Ramp, Glass Doors and New Chairs at the Consular Section
06 February 2018 BANGKOK — The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok formally opened to the public new facilities at the Consular Section on 22 January 2018. These facilities aim to make the public’s experience when transacting with the Embassy easier and more convenient. Ambassador Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon led the ribbon-cutting ceremony which was attended by Embassy personnel and Attached Agencies and witnessed by members of the Filipino community. An access ramp for persons with disabilities (PWD) and clients with special needs and new glass sliding doors at the Section entrance were recently installed, and worn out waiting area chairs have been replaced with new ones. The installation is part of the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to further improve its services and to comply with existing regulations on safety and access of special clients. END
