Canadian Trade Minister Optimistic of Trade with Manila

07 February 2018 OTTAWA — Canada’s International Trade Minister Francoise-Philippe Champagne met with Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Francisco Noel Fernandez III at Parliament Hill on 05 February. In their conversation, Minister Champagne expressed optimism for the future of Philippine-Canada trade relations. He noted the recent purchase by Philippine Airlines of passenger aircraft from Montreal-based Bombardier. He welcomed the information that Bombardier employs a significant number of Filipinos in its workforce.
